"Visited today Thursday 7/10/21 went in through the left had door where two barstaff were sat at the bar, went through to the other side of the pub to be served none of them came through until a Chef walked through and went and brought...one of them to serve us, sat with our drinks perusing the menu, my Wife went to the bar to order food, both our first choice meals were unavailable, my second choice was also unavailable so we chose again. The meal my wife chose was ok, I chose Chilli beef, my meal came with Rice on a sizzling bed of onions and peppers with a Poppadum, when it arrived I straight away put the poppadum aside as it was dripping in brown fat (looks like it was deep fried in old oil), the onions were par cooked as was the peppers, the beef chilli was so chewy I could hardly eat it. When the waitress came to clear the table she asked was everything ok for you I said no it wasn't actually and explained why, she said Im sorry I will tell the kitchen Then the supervisor came to clear the rest of our plates etc, saying nothing, we waited a while but no one else came so we left, as we went out we passed two barstaff a waitress and the supervisor, they couldn't even be bothered to say thank you Needless to say I wont be bothering visiting again"

The Plough has a fantastic beer garden overlooking the canal, perfect for enjoying pre-match drinks or unwinding after work in the sun. It's a great place to kick off your evening.

This is a great and welcoming pub with a delicious sizzling menu. I tried the jerk chicken skewers and they were excellent. Liz, the manager, was incredibly helpful and highly recommended.

family friendly pub serving good food. we eat here often and never had a problem with eating or service. Eating and drinks are also cheap to me! is that they often have objects from the camp that...annoying

Most food on the menu was unavailable, waited over 40mins for food chosen to be told unavailable, when food arrived came as individual meals no dish arrived together so all ate separately. Very poor quality food and small portions. Shocking service, will not be...returning. View menu

I’ve just come from the plough at sandiacre. We were overwhelmed at the hospitality we received from the minute we walked in. The young lady. I think her name was liz was so helpful . She showed us to a nice table. By the window...and told us just give us a shout when your ready to order the food came out which was fantastic I had a mixed grill cooked to perfection and my wife’s also cooked loverly I would certainly use this pub again when I’m in the area. Many thanks to everyone at the plough.

I went for breakfast this morning at The Plough in Sandiacre, Nottingham. I waited for 35 minutes and when my food arrived, it was cold. The bacon was cold, the sausage was uncooked on one side and burnt on the other, there was only half a mushroom, the beans were cold, the eggs were overdone, but the hash browns were hot. If you are looking for a decent breakfast, I recommend traveling a couple of miles up the road to Beeston and checking out Cafe 49, which is really good. Save your money and avoid The Plough. This pub has some of the worst service I've ever seen. There are two bars but the staff completely ignore one of them. On at least two separate occasions I've walked in, took my coat off and stood at the bar for 15 minutes or...more without getting served before putting my coat back on and leaving. Now if the other side was ridiculously busy I'd understand, but it wasn't and the staff walk behind the bar and see you and just wander off. Can't understand why you would run a business where you let custom just walk out the door.

myself and my wife went to the plough inn this week about 7.30pm for a couple of drinks.we sat out side and at 9.15pm they started to close the front door so i asked why and was told they where closing which i could not...understand as they say on their website that they are open till 11.00pm.i asked for 1 more pint and was told to late the tills had already been taken up .i thought that the hospitality industry was struggling so closing early with no notice given to customers seems wrong to me.had we been informed about closer time we would have either ordered before or gone somewhere else. would of been nice to be informed
