"While staying in Garmisch, the Colosseo was recommended for us to try. Our group of arrived during prime dinner hour without reservations, and they did a great job getting us seated. It was casual with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is located...on the second level and you must go up a flight of stairs to get to. There may be an elevator, but I did not see. The service was very good, and our waiter very knowledgeable on food choices. We had calamari bruschetta to begin with and both were delicious. Several of us shared pizza for dinner. The pizza is good size, and more than enough for people, and very tasty! We all enjoyed our dinner, dessert, and wine immensely!"

Our meal was very, very good. My husband had pizza and I had pasta. The pizza is thin crust and not at all burned on the bottom like some thin crusts can be. Colosseo is on floor. There is an elavator inside restaurant for...those who find stairs a challenge. Great outside seating with views towards the Zugstitze.

after reading so many positive reviews from this place my friend and I decided we should order from them. the person who took our call was very polite as the type that delivered the pizzas. the pizza itself was a catastrophe. I thought. there is nothing that can go wrong with pizzas, but this has proved me wrong. it was not boiled through, to teig-y, chew, the edges were burned, but not crispy, the mushrooms were in the ground raw, the cuts too big, a cup spinat (the personal preference but it was just too much) above. also the order took an hour to come and was cold. thumb for service thumbing down for pizza quality.
