"This pub was recommended to us by the owner of a shop in Downham Market so we took a chance that they could fit us in . Luckily they could .The food was really delicious. Starters of haddock goujons and cured beef were lovely. The cured beef just melted in your mouth and both of us shared it as the portion was very generous. Mains of Cajun salmon and pork belly were really lovely. The pork belly in particular was perfect. The meat melted in your mouth but the cracking was crisp, perfect! The service was good with staff happy to swap mash for chips on the pork dish. We would have loved desserts but both of us were so full we could only manage coffee. We have no hesitation in recommending The Hare Arms. You probably need to book at busy times though , it’s obviously popular , deservedly so."

Great Sunday lunch! Welcomed on arrival by friendly professional staff. We were a party of 4 and had different starters; all were excellent!!!! And then the main event......Beef Sunday roast. I would say one of the best Sunday roasts l have ever had. Given the opportunity we would definitely return.

Went with another couple and we all had different starters, main and dessert and all said it was the best meal we’d ever had certainly close anyway! Burger, Steak, Duck etc all top quality. We noticed the lady who had run the restaurant on Kings Lynn Tuesday Market Place, but don’t know whether she gave a hand in the kitchen or not? Fulls marks anyway!

Thank you to everyone who made our Sunday lunch such a great experience yesterday. The care taken following the Covid rules was exemplary and made us feel very safe. The staff were all friendly, well trained and efficient and the food was wonderful. The roast beef and fresh lobster were our main courses and we thoroughly enjoyed every mouth full. Thank you again and we already looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I along with some friends visited th Hare Arms Stow Bardolph for a Friday lunchtime meal and it was excellent. We've been before and I must say that the Lockdown has made the public house owners focus on good food, good service and a friendly welcome. We went back for Sunday lunch and again a very nice meal which we all enjoyed thoroughly. I would't hesitate to return to this restaurant and would recommend it oi anyone in the area wanting a nice meal.

My mother in law recommenced we come here for a rare child free date night and we were not disappointed!! I had the steak and my husband the ribs, both were cooked to utter perfection! The best food by far we’ve had for an extremely long time, the staff were polite and helpful. My only grumble would be we were sat where the kitchen entrance is and there’s just l no atmosphere there compared to the rest of the pub which had lit fires, a warm ambiance and a general cosy feeling unlike the restaurant area. We will most definitely be back though!!

As replies to previous negative reviews show the owner/s of this pub/restaurantdo not like to receive visitor comments.Previously really enjoyed eating here, but post covid the standard of foodhas really taken a nose dive.Scotch egg served in a metal tin, not garnished, only if you like mustard, a littlesalad would have been nice.Suet pudding was excellent, but served with chips, would expect mashor potatoes, I am sure it was not with chips on previous visits.Extremely rude lady who approached me and said SIT DOWN as Iwas taking my coat off. She needs to take a course in customer service.I appreciate that this is difficult times for this trade, but they must notforget their bread and butter....

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
