"The setting is beautiful, in the centre of the quaint village of St Pauls known for its art and narrow cobbled streets (can be quite slippy to walk on, make sure you wear sensible shoes) .The service was great, but the food was very bland, I ordered a chicken supreme which was a little steep at €26 and it was literally a piece of chicken on a bed of mash potato and a small drizzle of tasteless gravy. However my partner had a lamb dish and said it was excellent. We both had chocolate mousse for pudding which was a generous portion (unlike the main) but was still average nothing special. To think this place was on the Michelin guide it wasn't anything special."

After a morning of walking the bustling streets of St. Paul, Tilluel is a wonderful place to recharge. While it is tempting to sit under the trees on the patio, the July heat caused us to move to the quieter and cooler small dining room on the right as you enter the restaurant. With the house rosè and a price fixed menu we were more then satisfied with our choice. The restaurant is at the entry of the walled in town so there's plenty of people watching. The owner is usually on site, he is very hands on and more then willing to ensure a wonderful dining experience
