"First time back here today after the lockdown. At first we were the only diners in here, but after 30 minutes more people came. The menu gas changed, but to me only for the better. We were given paper menus that would be thrown away later. I asked for mine to be marked so I knew which foods I could choose and I was amazed at the GF choices. We went on a Sunday, so we could also chose chicken or beef roast dinner. Extremely tasty, perfect service and we all felt safe dinning here. I honestly can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. Today I had ribs to start and a beef roast dinner. If I wasn't full I'd have ordered a sweet. Perfect lunch."

Fabulous in all respects. Attentive and knowledgeable young staff serving delicious, top-notch, high-end dishes. Not fine-dining, but not far off, and bigger portions. Best meal in a long time. Not cheap, but very well worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Visited last night for a pre birthday meal. The food was excellent, homemade spring veg soup with herb dumplings, cod, steak etc freshly cooked and served beautifully. What an excellent chef they have. The decor and ambiance were just right. The big plus for us were the staff. The bar staff, waiters waitresses were delightful. So professional and quietly attentive without being intrusive.

We were looking to get away for a lovely meal and overnight stay. We could not have been looked after any better. A wonderful relaxing evening in lovely surroundings where the staff were so attentive and could not do enough for us. The food was delicious and the the room and hospitality perfect. Great SD in place too. Thank you Paul and the team for a lovely night away. Just what we needed.

What a wonderful food experience with excellent food supported by excellent customer care and service. Ambience was good and being first visit did not know what to expect. Parking was good. Great to see a busy restaurant at lunchtime on a Wednesday. Food was superb and really spoilt for choice as lunch menu, mains menu and specials menu. Quality of food was outstanding and choice of menu selections were spot on. Seating arrangements were great

Went for Sunday lunch. Sat at table 30 minutes no service . Not a single waitress/waiter came in so had to ask( the table behind had been waiting longer). We all decided to just have a main as didn’t want to wait for starters. Eventually ordered then waited another 45 minutes for food and gas to ask again. So 1 hour15 before we got anything to eat!!! Not good by any standards. Food was good when it came but again decided against dessert as couldn’t risk the wait. This place needs sorting out as it was past the main lunch time rush when we arrived!

The Millstone is a disgrace and a shadow of its former self which is sad to see. Food when it eventually arrived was cold and served on cold plates to boot. Cappuccino was like dish water and we were. left to wait for cutlery all the time food getting colder. The whole experience was dreadful and I would not recommend this pub to anyone especially Sunday lunch. . I would like to add we had been a few weeks previous in the restaurant and the experience was totally different to the bad service and food served in the bar area. Get your act together manger and staff at the Millstone.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
