"Our second visit to the Green man, the first being some 6 months ago, thankfully the food is every bit as good as the first visit. My wife and I booked for an early 12:30 table, we both ordered the mixed meat Sunday lunch, the food arrived quickly, was nicely plated, hot and freshly cooked. The pork, pork crackling, lamb and beef were perfectly cooked all three melting in the mouth, the chicken, if being critical was slightly dry but was still perfectly edible just not up to the standard of the other meats. The potatoes, parsnips, mixed vegetables and yorkshire puds were also cooked perfectly and complimented the meal well. Our waitress was attentive, polite and efficient while being warm and welcoming. Overall a very good Sunday lunch."

5 of us had a simply wonderful lunch in The Green Man yesterday 16/12/23. Excellent prompt service, really nice local beer, food was amazing, very reasonable price, nice décor and surroundings. All in all a great time for us on a rare family get together.

Our second visit tonight and whilst busy, there was still a good vibe and the food...well, it never disappoints. I remember really enjoying the food on my first visit and the second time this evening, blown away by the mussels in chilli and white wine. Will be back again!!! Keep up the good work.

First time visiting today for my birthday meal and it was fantastic! Highly recommend this great pub! Perfect menu and reasonably priced for the excellent quality and service! They were so patient with us too as some of our party were delayed but nothing was too much trouble! Can't wait to return! Thank you Green Man! Lastly, a wonderful family beer garden, our son loved the sandpit! Very family friendly and relaxed atmosphere!

Absolutely delicious food! The Lasagne was the best I 've ever eaten in a restaurant and the Eton Mess was 'wow ' too! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Calves Liver, cooked to perfection, and finished off with the Creme Brulee. Service was faultless. friendly and efficient, making allowances for the older guests whose deafness made things a challenge! We 'd love to return, and may well do so, when meeting up with family again.
